Information for teachers about Forest Service

Are you a teacher? Have you considered taking your pupils on a challenging, educational, outdoor activity but feel that maybe you don't have all the skills required to make the trip a success?

Book a trip to your local forest

A trip to any of Northern Irelands forests, combined with the services of a trained Forest Guide, can provide your pupils with an amazing day-trip filled with excitement and learning which can be tailored to many of the topics in the Northern Ireland National Curriculum.

Visits are open to all Primary and Secondary/Grammar schools.
Best of all, if you pre-book, the visit and services of a Forest Guide are free of charge.

This Education section contains lots of information which you may find useful, including some of the subjects that can be covered and details of how to contact us to book a visit. A document, entitled 'Further Information for Teachers' that describes some of the reasons to visit and many of the ways that a trip to the forest can benefit your pupils is available for download.
