Pig Text Alert Service

The Department has recently launched a new text alert service for all pig keepers to receive immediate notifications of disease outbreaks or other important disease information.  This will enable pig keepers to take action to protect their herd at the earliest opportunity. 

The Department would encourage all pig keepers to subscribe to this service by simply texting ‘PIGS’ to 67300.
