Consultation on the Emissions Performance Standard Monitoring and Enforcement Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2015

The Energy Act 2013 established an Emissions Performance Standard (EPS) limiting the carbon dioxide emissions from new fossil fuel power stations. The draft Regulations will introduce monitoring and enforcement arrangements for the EPS in Northern Ireland.  The intention is to have the statutory rule come into operation in January 2016.
