The scheme in its entirety will run along an 8km stretch from Belfast Harbour to Stranmillis Weir. The majority will be located the rear of existing footpaths along the river front outside of the harbour area. There will be a 215m stretch of in-river piling works required along the existing Ravenhill Quay Wall. The existing quay wall has visible structural impairments. Sheet piles will be installed at a distance of between 5-10m from existing wall and backfilling behind this will stabilise the quay wall.
