The NI Plant Health Label (NIPHL) Scheme comes into effect on 1st October 2023 and is a way for growers and traders in Great Britain (England, Scotland, and Wales) to move products that are eligible for the scheme to Northern Ireland. Goods moving under the scheme will have a NIPHL attached and will not require a Phytosanitary Certificate (PC), provided the goods meet the conditions of the NIPHL Scheme and that the goods will remain in NI without risk of onward movement to the EU.
