Go Fishing - Altnahinch
DAERA Inland Fisheries is delighted to announce that a special ‘Go Fishing’ event will be held at Altnahinch Dam on Saturday 5th August 2017. This event, which has been very successful in previous years, is aimed at anyone who would like to try fishing for the first time. Inland Fisheries is offering this opportunity to experience angling as a healthy, affordable and accessible outdoor sport. Many family groups and individuals have enjoyed this activity day, set in the scenic hills above Loughguille, Co Antrim, in past years and the Inland Fisheries team is happy to talk to those who might be interested in attending. Tuition and equipment will be available on the day.
In addition to this fun day out, complimentary angling licences and permits can be made available for first time anglers. Inland Fisheries representatives will be in attendance to offer advice on fishing and the attractions of the Department’s Public Angling Estate which offers over 70 waters across Northern Ireland including Altnahinch.
Further information can be obtained by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or by telephone on 0300 200 7860.
