  • Latest Updates for Farming with Nature Transition Scheme Applicants

    Topics:
    • Grants and Funding,
    • New & Future Schemes

Applications for 2025 Farming with Nature Transition Scheme closed on Monday 4th August at 5pm.

    What Happens Next?

    • For applications which have been either approved or rejected, a DAERA Message will be issued to the person who was logged in when the application was submitted on behalf of the business. This may be either a member of the business, or an authorised person. A PDF will be included to inform the farm business of the outcome.
    • If you have NOT received confirmation that your application has been approved, we will be in contact with you very soon.
    • If you have received confirmation that your application has been approved you can begin work now. Check your confirmation carefully as everything you originally applied for may not have been accepted. Make sure to follow our guidance when completing the work – How do I Carry Out the FwNT Scheme Actions?
    • Work must be completed before you claim for payment. Claims must be submitted online. Claims can be submitted between 2nd and 31st March 2026.

    Important Points to Note:

    • Scheme participants are required to retain invoices, for example, for seed purchased. Invoices dated prior to the date of acceptance into the scheme would render the action ineligible for payment.
