Management of fishing rights at Conlig Upper Fishery in the Public Angling Estate
The Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs currently lease the fishing rights at the following reservoir from Northern Ireland Water and are seeking expressions of interest for the management of the fishing rights starting from the 1 March 2018.

The waters must be accessible by DAERA permit holders and managed in a manner consistent with the Departments policy to provide affordable angling throughout Northern Ireland. Applicants must provide a fishery management plan and demonstrate how they will deliver other key fishery management objectives. The Department will assess all applications against a predetermined criteria and scoring system.
The successful applicants will be expected to manage the fishing rights at the fishery from 1 March 2018 for a period of at least 5 angling seasons. The successful applicants must be prepared to sign a management agreement with the Department, as stipulated by the Departments legal advisor, which will be legally binding on both parties.

Management of fishing rights on the DAERA stretch of the River Maine
This extends (with a number exceptions) to about 5.5km of fishing from both banks of the river from Hillmount Weir upstream to a point around 1.5km above Dunminning Bridge.
The fishery must be accessible by DAERA permit holders and managed in a manner consistent with the Departments policy to provide affordable angling throughout Northern Ireland. Applicants must provide a fishery management plan and demonstrate how they will deliver other key fishery management objectives.
The Department will assess all applications against a predetermined criteria and scoring system.
