Procedures and types of goods accepted at Northern Ireland Points of Entry

If you move agri-food goods, plants and animals from GB, you must enter via a Northern Ireland Point of Entry. DAERA are working, with the FSA, Defra and the EU, to designate the following as Points of Entry for the purposes sanitary and phytosanitary checks:

  • Belfast Port
  • Larne Port
  • Warrenpoint Harbour
  • Foyle Harbour
  • Belfast International Airport (designation TBC)

The following table shows the location of the inspection facilities at the Point of Entry and the category of goods that will be inspected at these facilities:
