The Aquatic Animal Health Regulations (NI) 2009 requires all put and take fisheries to register with the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs for Northern Ireland.
‘Put and take fisheries’ means ponds or other installations where the population is maintained only for recreational fishing by restocking with aquaculture animals.
