Applications for Abstraction and Impoundment being advertised

Dalradian Gold Ltd has applied for authorisation for two abstraction and impoundment (listed below) at the proposed Curraghinalt Mine, adjacent to 80 Mullydoo Road, Greencastle, County Tyrone, BT79 7QP (E258418, N383902)

• Abstraction of surface water and storage in the Clean Water Pond. (Application Reference AIL/2020/1050)
• Abstraction of Mine Water through dewatering of the underground mine and storage within the West Pond. (Application Reference AIL/2020/1060)

Applications were submitted to NIEA on the 30^th September 2020 and deemed complete on the 25^th November 2020.                                                                                                  

Documents submitted to the Department in support of the applications include:

1. Application form for abstraction of surface water (AIL/2020/1050).
2. Supporting documentation for surface water abstraction application (AIL/2020/1050).
3. Application form for abstraction of mine water (AIL/2020/1060).
4. Supporting documentation for mine water abstraction (AIL/2020/1060).
