This document provides guidance for Independent Valuers who have been selected by animal owners from the approved list of the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs ( DAERA) to carry out independent valuations of diseased and in-contact cattle which will be slaughtered by DAERA and for which the animal owners will be compensated.
