Consultation on Animals and Animal Products Residues

This procedure will combine a number of amendments to these Regulations into one piece of legislation, creating a more accessible, transparent and user-friendly version of the Regulations. This legislation is required to enforce European law on the control of residues of veterinary medicines and illegal substances in food products derived from animals. The new Regulations will not introduce any changes to policy or to existing compliance requirements for food business operators.
