Consultation on the Outline Strategy for Future Marine and Fisheries Support 2023 - 2028

Summary

The Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs in Northern Ireland is seeking your views on its funding proposals for marine and fisheries stakeholders over the next 5 years. To help the Department develop a detailed strategic plan, we would be grateful for some feedback on this outline proposal.

Consultation description

DAERA is currently consulting on its future funding proposals for the marine and fisheries sectors and which ends on Friday 3rd February 2023.

The consultation documents are available above and the green button ( Respond online ) below will take you to the Citizen Space consultation response document.

To promote the consultation, Marine and Fisheries Division is proposing to convene a number of on-line (MS Teams) events as follows:-

Tuesday 17th January                             10.00am - 12.00pm           

Tuesday 17th January                               2.00pm - 4.00pm                        

Wednesday 18th January                         7.00pm – 9.00pm            

In addition, in-person events are planned as follows:-

Thursday 19th January     Hilton Belfast, Templepatrick, Co. Antrim  (BT39 0DD)

First Presentation                2.00pm – 4.00pm

Second Presentation           6.00pm – 8.00pm

Alternatively, you may ring 028 4461 8093 or 028 4461 8099 to register your intention.
