The consultation on the UK-wide introduction of Deposit Return Scheme (DRS) ran for 10 weeks and closed on 4 June 2021 receiving 2,590 responses from a broad range of stakeholders.The Government response to the consultation is linked below and this sets out the principles of how the scheme will operate. A summary of responses to the consultation is also below.
