The site is located in Glenarm Marina, Glenarm, Co. Antrim. The project consists of the installation of pedestrian pontoons within Glenarm Harbour alongside the existing rock armour revetment to the south of the harbour. The new pontoons are to be connected to the existing pontoon network to allow access to the shore via the current ‘bridge’. Pontoons will be held in place by a series of piles secured into the seabed. The proposed pontoons provide additional berths to accommodate up to circa. 10 boats at any time, dependent upon the length of the boats.
