Construction of a temporary pontoon for Skiffie Festival Competition Course

Project Description: The Pontoon construction will commence approximately four- five days before the scheduled event date - 31 July for 2023. Construction takes 2- 3-days weather depending.
The plastic Aqua dock blocks will be pieced together on the shore. As they are constructed, they are floated in sections until the work is complete. Contractors will deploy a small RIB to access the seaward side of the Pontoon to facilitate handrail anchor and chain installation.
The shore end of the pontoon will comprise of ramp anchor points x 2 and structure to prevent unauthorized access.
At the end of the festival the pontoon will be removed.
