Following user feedback and to make data more accessible and comparable for each of the Wellbeing metrics, NISRA teams within The Executive Office and Department of Finance decided to work in collaboration to produce the Wellbeing in NI report from 2020/21.Previously the personal wellbeing statistics were sourced from the Labour Force Survey (LFS). To utilise a single source going forward it was decided that the Continuous Household Survey (CHS) was a more robust source, due to a larger sample size and because its focus is working age people only.
