EU Exit: Guidance for businesses that manufacture or use pesticides

Reminder of actions your business may need to take

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has issued guidance outlining the actions your business may need to take to prepare for the changes in the Plant Protection Products (PPP) regime after the UK leave the EU. The UK Government aims to provide support and advice in all potential Brexit outcomes.

Working closely with the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA), the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) and the Scottish and Welsh Governments, the HSE has an important role to play in regulating PPP's in the UK.

Whether the UK leaves the EU with or without a deal, businesses involved in placing PPP's on the market in the UK or the EU will need to take different actions after exit day.

To understand the actions your business may need to take, please visit the HSE website.

Further advice and guidance will be published in due course.
