    Consultation description

The development and implementation of DAERA's policies and strategies should reflect these needs where necessary. It provides us with a vitally important opportunity to embed wider equality considerations into decision-making. This will ensure that new policies and programmes align with the need to address the equality duties throughout the Department at a strategic, as well as a policy, level.
