Consultation description

The proposed new Regulations will introduce revised fees for poultry flock holders for statutory testing and sampling under EU 2160/2003:

The existing fees have been reviewed in light of current costs relating to the testing regimes required under EU 2160/2003 and it is now necessary to introduce a new fees schedule to enable DARD to fully recover costs of services provided. This will ensure compliance with government policy of full cost recovery.

The following consultation package includes the proposed draft Regulations as well as a draft Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA) detailing the amended schedule of fees.
