AIL/2020/0105 and AIL/2020/0106 Applications DEEMED REFUSED

Dalradian Gold Ltd applied for authorisation for two abstraction and impoundment (listed below) at the proposed Curraghinalt Mine, adjacent to 80 Mullydoo Road, Greencastle, County Tyrone, BT79 7QP (E258418, N383902)

• Abstraction of surface water and storage in the Clean Water Pond. (Application Reference AIL/2020/0105)
• Abstraction of Mine Water through dewatering of the underground mine and storage within the West Pond. (Application Reference AIL/2020/0106)

Applications were submitted to NIEA on the 30^th September 2020 and deemed complete on the 25^th November 2020.                                                                                                  

Documents submitted to the Department in support of the applications include:

1. Application form for abstraction of surface water (AIL/2020/0105).
2. Supporting documentation for surface water abstraction application (AIL/2020/0106).
3. Application form for abstraction of mine water (AIL/2020/0106).
4. Supporting documentation for mine water abstraction (AIL/2020/0106).

Applications AIL2020/0105 and AIL 2020/0106 have now been deemed refused under Regulation 19 of the Abstraction and Impoundment Regulations 2006 As Amended, as a result these applications are no longer being considered
