DAERA Marine Wildlife Stranding Protocol

The Department has produced guidance for staff, competent authorities, environmental bodies and members of the public in relation to dealing with live and dead stranded marine wildlife.  This includes relevant contact numbers and detailed steps to be followed should you encounter a live or dead marine animal stranded on the coast.
