    DAERA's annual postgraduate studentships symposium allows currently funded students to showcase their research.      

    This year's event was held in the Stormont Hotel, Belfast on Tuesday 18 September 2018 and was attended by over 100 students, supervisors, stakeholders and DAERA staff.

    Our Permanent Secretary, Dr Denis McMahon, welcomed everyone to the symposium and guest speaker Professor Carol Curran shared her career journey after her PhD, which included setting up a Nursing College in Saudi Arabia!
