    Consultation description

    It is aimed at stakeholders who have an interest in the introduction of mandatory CCTV in slaughterhouses, as well as slaughterhouse operators who may be impacted by the introduction of these regulations. The consultation paper sets out background information on the benefits of mandatory CCTV and its impact on animal welfare. It also sets out the position on mandatory CCTV in slaughterhouses in other jurisdictions of the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland
