Consultation description
The scope of this consultation is to seek stakeholder opinion on proposals for management measures for the brown crab fishery including:
- Minimum landing sizes;
- The landing of berried crabs; and
- Capping effort: e.g. permit scheme; limit on pot numbers.
The Department is currently considering all of the responses it has received to this consultation, prior to publishing a synopsis and Departmental response.
