    Consultation description

The purpose of this consultation is to seek views on the possibility of introducing mandatory sheep carcase classification and price reporting in Northern Ireland in order to help improve fairness and price transparency. This consultation is principally directed at anyone with an interest in the regulation of the sheep sector, or in pricing transparency. We would like views about whether it is desirable and also about how practical it would be to operate.
