Summary

The Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) is seeking further views on the bookmaking office charge that has been agreed between the bookmakers' and racecourses' representatives, which is paid into the Horse Racing Fund (HRF) administered by DAERA with the aim of supporting the two local racecourses here, Downpatrick Racecourse and Down Royal Racecourse.
