  • CAFRE Enniskillen Campus student on placement at White Cottage Stables

    Date published: 15 August 2016

CAFRE Enniskillen Campus student Coral Logue from Newtownabbey is completing her work placement with White Cottage Stables, Saintfield, as part of her Level 3 Extended Diploma in Horse Management.

As part of the Level 3 programme, students are required to complete 10 weeks work placement. Equine Lecturer Shelley Stuart recently visited Coral to monitor her progress while on work placement. During the visit, Coral stated: “I am enjoying my work placement at White Cottage Stables and all the opportunities I get. There are always competitions coming up which I get to compete in as well as cross country schooling.

Antonia Donnelly from White Cottage Stables is pleased with Coral’s hard working attitude and says she is very capable of using her own initiative and working on her own and is friendly to all on the yard. I would have no bother giving Coral a reference for head groom.

To find out more about the equine courses offered at Enniskillen Campus including the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Horse Management, come along to our careers advice evening on Thursday 25 August at 7pm. Alternatively check out our courses on the CAFRE website or follow us on Facebook.
