CAFRE to host EFS Wider Information Event

With the opening of the fourth tranche of the Environmental Farming Scheme (EFS) Wider level on August 17, the College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise (CAFRE) will be running an online event to give those interested in applying further information on the scheme.

A pollinator margin at CAFRE Greenmount campus. The EFS scheme has a range of options focussed on biodiversity, water quality and climate resilience with over 5,000 participants so far.

CAFRE technologists Terence Henry and Robert Beggs will give an overview of the scheme and answer participant’s questions. Topics covered will include the application process, information on the options that are available, what to expect after you have made your application and how to comply with scheme requirements. 

The online WebEx event meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 25 at 7pm, with applicants asked to join between 6.45pm and 7pm.
