  • CAFRE’s open for applications through UCAS Clearing

    Date published: 5 August 2026

The College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise (CAFRE) is encouraging prospective students to explore its range of Honours Degree and Foundation Degree courses available through UCAS Clearing for September 2026 intake.

CAFRE’s Student Recruitment Advisers, Toni Donnelly, Laura Browne and Caoimhe Hegarty are on hand to answer your UCAS Clearing questions. Get in touch at: CAFRErecruitment@daera-ni.co.uk

UCAS Clearing enables students who have yet to obtain a university place the opportunity to apply for degree programmes starting in September at CAFRE.

Students choose CAFRE for its strong links with industry and its focus on preparing graduates for careers in the agri-food and land-based sectors. Courses are developed in partnership with employers to ensure students gain the knowledge and practical skills needed in the workplace. This is reflected in high levels of student satisfaction, with more than 95% of graduates either entering employment or progressing to further study within six months of completing their course.

Whether you are making a late application, have declined a previous offer, or are considering a change in direction, CAFRE's Student Recruitment Advisers can provide advice on the courses available and guide you through the Clearing process.

Discover CAFRE’s BSc (Honours) and Foundation Degree courses, validated by Ulster University in Agri-Food, Equine and Horticulture.

Anyone interested in studying at CAFRE is encouraged to contact the Student Recruitment Team to discuss their options and available places for September 2026.

Visit UCAS to discover course availability at CAFRE. Contact: CAFRErecruitment@daera-ni.gov.uk for UCAS Clearing advice.
