  • Coolmore provides Bursary to Enniskillen Equine Student

    Megan McGrory, Lisnaskea, receiving the Coolmore Bursary of £1,000 from Paraic Dolan, Area Manager Coolmore Ireland.

    Megan McGrory, a first year BSc student in Equine Management at CAFRE Enniskillen Campus has been awarded the Coolmore Bursary of £1,000. Megan obtained this bursary for achieving the top mark in the BSc1 Breeding and Stud Assignment. Megan completed a written report evaluating mare selection and management of the mares at CAFRE Enniskillen Equine Breeding Unit.

    Megan from Lisnaskea, Co Fermanagh has completed the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Horse Management. Megan has also had the opportunity to extend her knowledge and experience of the Thoroughbred sector by selecting to complete the optional Horse Racing Industry module this year.

    CAFRE Enniskillen Campus is pleased to have this partnership with such a global equine organisation as Coolmore; who not only provide a bursary award but also offer an internship to final year students.
