The College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise (CAFRE) invites past and current Loughry Food students and staff to join an online Alumni event on Monday 12 April at 7.30pm.

Shane McKinney, Head of Food Education and Peter Simpson, Head of Food Technology at Loughry Campus invite past students and staff to join them for an online Alumni event on Monday 12 April.

The webinar is the first planned event, designed to develop a network of Loughry Food Alumni. Whether you are interested in reminiscing past adventures, supporting food industry innovation and growth, progressing your professional development, or would like a good old catch-up with friends, Loughry Food Alumni events have something to offer you.

The first webinar will be hosted by Shane McKinney, Head of Food Education; Peter Simpson, Head of Food Technology; Clare Millar, Food Technologist and Gillian Stevenson, Senior Lecturer.

Join the webinar to find out about exciting campus redevelopment plans, the robotics and automation project and hear about the range of industry services and education programmes available. If you haven’t been in contact with Loughry for a while, this is a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with the college.

Ruth Devlin, Head of Technical, Avondale Foods is looking forward to the event: “As a CAFRE Alumni I have been in regular contact with the Loughry team. The college has provided me with not only fantastic professional development opportunities but introduced our company to work placement students and graduates. I am looking forwarding to the event to find out more about the innovative ways CAFRE can support Loughry Alumni as we drive growth with agri-food businesses.”

For more information and how to join the webinar visit the Events section on the CAFRE website. The webinar will be hosted using WebEx. Please register in advance.
