  • Horse Sport Ireland Internship awarded to top degree student at CAFRE

    Horse Sport Ireland and CAFRE Enniskillen Campus have joined forces in a new partnership.

    Amy McGarvey the successful recipient of the Horse Sport Ireland Internship.

    Final year students enrolled on the BSc (Hons) Equine Management and FdSc Equine Management programmes at CAFRE Enniskillen Campus were offered the opportunity to compete for an internship with Horse Sport Ireland.

    The successful graduate is Amy McGarvey from Dungloe, Co Donegal who recently graduated from the BSc (Hons) Equine Management programme at Enniskillen. Amy was also awarded the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) award, the Vaughan Trust award and the Tullyraine House Cup for being the top BSc student. Amy has now begun a yearlong internship with Horse Sport Ireland where she is gaining a valuable insight and experience in all aspects of this organisation.

    Enniskillen Campus staff and students are grateful to Horse Sport Ireland for providing our students with this fantastic opportunity and we look forward to working closely with the organisation in the future.
