Aisling McTeague from Draperstown graduated with a Masters qualification from CAFRE and attributes the programme to helping her in her role as Interim Brand Marketing Manager at Moy Park. Aisling has been employed by Moy Park since 2013 working on various sites and in different departments.

Aisling McTeague celebrates her graduation with a Masters qualification with her dad (Patrick McTeague), mum (Kate McTeague) and husband Ralph Graham at the QUB Awards Ceremony.

Having completed a BSc in Marketing from Ulster University, Aisling enrolled on the Queen’s University validated postgraduate programme at Loughry Campus, Cookstown. “After completing my undergraduate degree my next step was to keep on studying and researching. I became interested in the Masters programme after hearing various people recommending it, so I attended the course information evening at CAFRE, Loughry Campus to find out more. After the evening my enthusiasm grew to take the step onto postgraduate study.

"The final element of the Masters course was to complete a research thesis. This allowed me to use key learnings from both work and study, which added value for my personal and professional development.

"I have brought my new knowledge and understanding of marketing and communication literature to my department at Moy Park, making completing the MSc more rewarding! The course has given me great opportunities for career advancement and has created a new link for me within the industry and peers from CAFRE.”

If you would like to discover how you could enhance your career through a qualification from QUB at CAFRE, come along to the Postgraduate Course Information Evening at Loughry Campus on Tuesday 27 June from 5-9pm and look into how full-time or part-time study could benefit you!
