Something for everyone at DAERA’s exhibits at Balmoral

A visit to this year’s Balmoral Show wouldn’t be complete without calling into see the DAERA exhibits.
With woodland workouts for the kids, information on courses at CAFRE and biosecurity advice to protect your herd from TB, there is something for everyone.
You can learn more about the problem of plastic pollution, our Green Growth strategy and what we are doing to protect the environment as well as taking part in a ‘Play Your Cards Right’ environmental quiz.
You can learn more about our online services and DAERA Direct Offices and farm businesses who have applied for Single Application funding can view their maps and make any changes online. They can also learn how to track their claim from submission to payment.
In addition to the numerous livestock classes, there will be over 650 trade stands, which range from clothing, tourism and skincare to plant machinery. Food is a major part of every Balmoral Show and as always the NI Food Pavilion will showcase the very best of local food and drink. DAERA is very proud to be a major sponsor of this popular element of the show.
So join the DAERA team at the Eikon Centre in Lisburn for the 153rd Balmoral Show which takes place from Wednesday 11 May, to Saturday 14 May 2022, as we showcase the very best of Northern Ireland’s agri-food and rural sectors.
