Training for the future at CAFRE

The College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise (CAFRE) provide a number of LANTRA courses to support farmers and growers in order to develop their skills in operating a wide range of vehicles and attachments.

New to this existing suite of courses, CAFRE have introduced pilot one-day intensive courses (for the experienced operator) in telehandlers, tractors and quad bikes.

Even the most experienced operators can find themselves in potentially dangerous situations. Without the proper training, serious accidents can, and do, occur.

These CAFRE courses will support farmers and growers to develop the skills and knowledge required to operate these extremely useful and very versatile pieces of machinery on farm, safely, and with confidence.
