  • Training for the future at CAFRE

    Topics:
    • Education and training

    Date published: 11 September 2017

The College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise (CAFRE) provide a number of LANTRA courses to support farmers and growers in order to develop their skills in operating a wide range of vehicles and attachments.

New to this existing suite of courses, CAFRE have introduced pilot one-day intensive courses (for the experienced operator) in telehandlers, tractors and quad bikes.

Even the most experienced operators can find themselves in potentially dangerous situations. Without the proper training, serious accidents can, and do, occur.

These CAFRE courses will support farmers and growers to develop the skills and knowledge required to operate these extremely useful and very versatile pieces of machinery on farm, safely, and with confidence.

How can you get onto a course at CAFRE?

CAFRE offer the full range of courses throughout the year. To get onto a course, visit the CAFRE website and follow the links to industry training to see where and when the next available course is:

If you have a query or want to find out more information, contact the industry training administration team on 028 9442 6880.
