  • Upcoming part time courses from CAFRE - Online Social Media for Equine Businesses

    CAFRE will be delivering their online social media course for equine businesses in January 2017. The course will be delivered completely online and will consist of three presentations over a six week period. There will also be online discussion groups and support and an online assessment to test your knowledge. There will be a certificate of completion from CAFRE. Topics covered in the course include:

    CAFRE Online Social Media and Equine Law courses taking place in January 2017
    • Social media channels and tools
    • Measuring the success of social media
    • Monitoring social media.

    This course is free of charge and suitable for anyone who wishes to promote themselves, their business or their horses online, including Riding Schools, Instructors, Farriers, Vet Practices or any equine or rural business.

    The course will go live on Wednesday 11 January 2017 and participants need to register online by Wednesday 4 January 2017.

    Equine Business “Keeping on the Right Side of the Law” Workshop

    The third workshop in the CAFRE Equine Business Series will cover Law and how it affects businesses in the Equine Industry. “Keeping on the right side of the Law” will take place on Tuesday 10 January at Greenmount Campus, Antrim at 7:30, Doors open at 7pm. The workshop will be led by practicing solicitors with experience in a number of different equine cases as well as employment law. The event will be useful for all equine related businesses from riding schools and tack shops to self employed instructors, producers and farriers. There will also be an opportunity for discussion and networking.
