  • Book now to attend Arable NI 2026

    Date published: 21 May 2026

The College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise (CAFRE), the Ulster Arable Society and the Ulster Farmers’ Union are organising a joint on-farm Arable Conference.

Robin Bolton, Senior Adviser CAFRE with Richard Orr, Chair of the Seeds and Cereals Committee, UFU and Clement Lynch, Deputy President of the Ulster Farmers’ Union invite you to book to attend Arable NI 2026.

Tickets are now available for Arable NI 2026, an on-farm event which will take place on Wednesday 3 June 2026 at Legmore Farms, Moira.

“This new initiative is designed to support the arable sector and will be hosted on a working farm, providing a practical setting to highlight Northern Ireland’s arable industry. The event will bring together farmers, agronomists, researchers, agri-tech innovators, and key industry stakeholders for a day focused on sharing practical knowledge, encouraging collaboration, and demonstrating best practice,” commented Robin Bolton, Senior Adviser, CAFRE.

The day’s programme will feature keynote presentations, expert-led panel discussions, field demonstrations, and machinery displays, alongside a vibrant trade stand village providing excellent opportunities for networking.

Speaking about the upcoming conference, Robin said: “We’re delighted to partnering once again with the UAS and UFU to bring together those from arable enterprises to explore developments and challenges within the sector. This year the conference is being hosted on the farm of Ronnie and Tom Wells in Moira. We hope this new format will combine the theory and practical elements of the conference to enhance the learning and take-away messages from our speakers and plot demonstrators.”

Fane Valley is the Headline Sponsor of Arable NI 2026 and as a farmer owned co-operative, are committed to supporting the arable sector and championing the innovation, expertise and resilience that define Northern Ireland’s growers.
