Animal Welfare Pathway- Advancing Animal Welfare in Northern Ireland 2025-27

The Animal Welfare Pathway sets out the range of reforms to be delivered by the Department over the remainder of this Assembly’s mandate. These reforms are anticipated to have the most significant impact on enhancing animal welfare and the Pathway has been developed following engagement with key stakeholders including animal welfare organisations, veterinary associations, agricultural bodies, and enforcement agencies
