The DAERA Science Policy is applicable to policy makers, policy leads, operational leads, sponsor branches, data producers and consumers and anyone commissioning science on DAERA’s behalf, either internally or externally, including through any collaborative arrangements.
This policy applies to:
- Science data collected or resulting from DAERA commissioned science (both Monitoring & Surveillance and Research & Development) and/or funding, including through access to DAERA facilities, and through collaborative arrangements with others outside DAERA
- Science data from other data repositories not owned by DAERA but which is used to generate further science data as a result of DAERA funding and commissioning
