DARD's children and your people action plan sets our the departments proposd work during the period 2011-2013.
DARD has responsibilities to deliver on its obligations under the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). The importance of participation and engagement with children and young people, is also highlighted through their inclusion in Section 75 of the Northern Ireland Act 1998.
