Direction from the Department issued to the Chief Inspector under the UK Emissions Trading Scheme Order 2020
This is a Direction to the regulator under section 52 of the Climate Change Act 2008. The purpose of the Direction is to fulfil the requirements of Article 50(4) of the UK ETS Order in relation to calculation of a civil penalty for carrying out a regualted activity that is not authorised by a permit.
