This proposal aims to identify areas of importance for priority elasmobranch species using a combination of satellite and acoustic telemetry. This will be done by deploying 20 x VR2AR acoustic receivers in three locations over a 3-year period, with a deployment duration of 12 months at each site. The proposed study areas are (1) in the north coast between Lough Foyle and Portstewart (not entering the Skerries & Causeway SAC), (2) Church Bay and Rathlin Sound and (3) Murlough SAC.
