Marine Licence ML 18_17 Rathlin Island dredge

Dredging Works are required in the Rathlin Harbour starting at the entrance and along the inside of the western breakwater, the dredging works also extend east to the inside of the eastern breakwater. The works are required to re-establish sufficient water depth at low tide to allow boats safe passage in and out of the harbour. An area of approximately 12,500m² is proposed to be dredged around the entrance resulting in approximately 8,000m³ of recently deposited sands to be removed.
