    Project Description: Translink NI Railways Culvert Strengthening Program proposed works include:

    The open cut replacement of three existing culverts that convey water through the Translink Railway embankment on the Larne to Bleach Green Line.

    The culverts will be replaced in their entirety with a new concrete spigot and socket pipes and propriety concrete headwalls installed both upstream and downstream of the culverts.

    Rock armouring will be placed on the shore side of the shore side of the railway embankment for approximately 5-7m either side of each of the proposed culverts and headwalls.

    Scour protection will also be placed both upstream and downstream of the proposed culverts.
