Project Description: Maintaining our farm is a year-round activity. We focus on maintaining the farm through the winter months and begin seeding lines around Dec/Jan. This involves placing rope between the two anchor points, or reusing the rope already in place. Harvesting takes place mostly during spring/summer. We expect the installation of new ropes and anchors will take place through June/July to make use of the good weather. This is estimated to take a total of 24 hours.

The main anchors will be set at a depth between 15-20 metres with chain and marked with A5 buoys. 4 main anchors for 2 new ropes. II. Sections of rope around 30 metres will be laid and anchored in a depth between 15-20 metres, marked with A3 buoys. Approximately 10 small anchors and 360m of nylon rope. III. The cultivated seaweed is then spooled onto the sections of rope (approximately 12 sections) and hard floats are tied and weighted to sink the rope 1.5-2metres
