Project Description: AtkinsRéalis are laying a new surface water sewer on New Harbour Road, Portavogie on behalf of NI Water. This will discharge 10 l/s into The Irish Sea via a new outfall pipe to serve a proposed 3G pitch development on New Harbour Road, Portavogie.
The works will include construction of 10m of 200mm PVC, outfall pipe at a rock
armour on Portavogie Bay Beach adjacent to Portavogie Harbour flowing to Irish
Sea.
The proposed outfall pipe will include 200mm of concrete surround for protection
and anchoring. The work will involve the removal and reinstatement of the rock
armour to existing condition.
