MLEIA2026013 - Islandmagee Energy Limited (IMEL) - Scoping Opinion

Islandmagee Energy Limited (the Applicant) are proposing to develop a gas storage facility, namely the Islandmagee Gas Storage Facility (IGSF) at Islandmagee in County Antrim, capable of storing up to 500 million standard cubic metres (m³) of market ready gas from the NI transmission network. The proposal also consists of a saltwater intake site and a brine outfall site.
