Lafarge Tarmac and Northern Ireland Environment Agency have agreed to put in place a framework based on the following joint aspirations to enable Lafarge Tarmac to move their business further towards long-term prosperity by:
- working together to secure sustainable production of cement in Northern Ireland
- encouraging product innovation, resource efficiency and responsible management of materials
- working with partners and the community to assess environmental risk and opportunities at Lafarge Tarmac Cookstown
